Formed nearly 15 years ago, Desert Fish Studios features the combined talents of Lauren Hoeffer, and Laura Skillern-Sailer. Both artists had been painting and customizing on their own for nearly a decade, prior to their decision to combine their efforts. What a grand partnership it has turned out to be! Laura customizes and resculpts the models, and then Lauren brings them to life with finishwork. Lauren specializes in pastel and other mixed media finishwork; and Laura specializes in drastic customs... with a few original sculptures and resins thrown into the mix!
